Hong Kong Express 747

Just heard that Hong Kong Express has employed a 747 fleet manager. Anyone heard anything about this?

Are these 747s going to be freighters or pax?

I have heard CR airways looking for 777s as well as Oasis as well. Good luck finding any available!

Why did Oasis buy the old and filthy looking 777 (which is going to be scrapped) from Varig at a very cheap price..?

EDITED: didn't (typo)

Yes thats not a rumour though. Hainan have A330s on order and plan to transfer them to CR Airways when they get them next year.

HKE is having alot of problems with their current a/c's. probably change of fleet will be good.

but for such a small airline to get 777's , 330's , 747's ? souds kinda weird and dosen't make sense for now as for their expansion ?.

so far just talk as for HKE. nothing signed or agreed. what happened to their ng's ? they advertised for pilots on ng's.

Time will tell if HKE gets the NG in Jan 07 or if the all are going to HKA. Rumour is your getting the freighter fleet and we the NG's and 777. That being said, who really knows? Likely not even the guy who will make the decision...

looks like a mystery and it's all being said only. why not just wait, see and till the a/c's arrive. no point shooting blanks
