CoS07 + RP07 for the Layman/New Hire

Hello Folks,

In light of all the recent discussion about CoS07 and RP07, I was wondering if someone could explain (in layman's terms) what the primary differences will be for '07 new hires under the proposed conditions of service and rostering practices. As a pilot for a U.S. regional carrier, some of the terminology used on this forum is a bit foreign (pardon the pun ) to me. I am scheduled for a second interview in HK next month and would most likely be starting training early next year if hired. What can a new hire expect in terms of pay, schedules, vacation, basing etc.?

Thanks!

I’m interested in the same thing. I was recently hired and am expecting class sometime next year.
