Canadian Basing?
How difficult is it, currently, to get a Canadian basing? Is there a long seniority wait-list, or is there still a "revolving door" effect where F/O's are continuously moving back to HK as they become eligible for upgrade and; therefore, opening new spots in the Canadian bases? How many Canadian basing spots are available at the moment? Can anyone speculate as to what the new proposed DEFO positions on the pax fleet will do to the number of basing slots available in Canada over the next few years?
