Days worked?
Pardon me if this is in the wrong forum. Not sure if I should be putting my questions in the wannabes section. Just let me know.
I heard that, as an SO, the sked is pretty slack (like 12 days a mo.), but then as FO and Capt., they work you much harder (like up to 20! ) I can hardly see a 25 year Capt. putting up with that. How many days do you usually work and what is your position and base?

I think this should be in the other forum.
To answer your question, when upgraded from SO you will initially be upgraded to the rank of JFO. While JFO you can expect a heavier schedule (20 days) due to the fact that the A330 and 777 primarily do regional flying. After 6-12 months most people are upgraded to FO and end up back on long haul which affords more days off.
