Cool

Nice job, shame about the window plugs still being painted, spoils the look.

Have you seen the new JAL 400F yet? It hurts to look at it without shades on.

Saw the shiny skin flex today when it landed on 25L HKG. About 3 centreline markings short of the 1500' markers with the wheel 1 + 3 rubber marks on the centreline marking.
Things you see when you don't have a camera handy.

210/15-20 can mean a lot.

How much does paint weight? Probably a fuel issue as well.

yeah, i think it's a weight/fuel/money issue....
Air Canada tried it last year,
http://www.flightglobal.com/Articles...oeing+767.html
and after a few months, they figured it would actually cost more to keep the plane shiny and rust free... so it went back to the original colours in march 2006

another problem was ... the passengers HATED it... but i guess CX and JAL cargo planes won't have that problem....

Canada is not exactly Hong Kong though. I had to spend an extra night in Toronto because the mechanics were not allowed to remove a rivet. Rivet removal is a machinist job and machinists don't work on Sunday (So I was told) My point is Canada is so unionized that I can see how costs would be more higher.
