Thank You

Management would like to thank the AOA and in particular the members for allowing the Non Members to join so easily. This will further enhance the infighting amongst you and intensify our cause to reduce your COS.

The new rule change, a smaller faction will be able to sway the vote. Thank you.

With RP04 to continue, Age 60, on reduced conditions (C Scale), and D Scale with new DEFO’s, soon to be implemented, we are very much on track in reducing our cost base.

We have boosted our Advertisements in FI in anticipation of DEFO’s in all bases.

We have looked into other various schemes to reduce our costs in Hong Kong. Our CEO is currently in talks with the Hong Kong Government to grant us permission to impose local conditions to any person holding a Permanent Hong Kong Identification Card. Watch this space.

We believe you will not leave us and this will direct those affected crew to bases where we will, in the future, reduce those conditions further.

Our 5-10 year plan is progressing very nicely with your help. Please keep up the work.

As we amalgamate the our New Group (Cathay Pacific, Air China and Dragonair) our 5-10 years plan is to transfer flying from our expensive cost base to the reduced cost base. We will paint all Aircraft the same livery and the travelling public will not comprehend which Airline they are travelling. All Cabin Crew will have the same attire and check-in will be seamless.

Of course, Swire/Cathay Pacific will control the management of this new group and the shares will be divided accordingly.

As we grow, all New Command positions will be offered to a base and if you are not entitled to work in that base, then the next F/O who is eligible, will be offered that Command. It will be our way of DE Captains on a base, further reducing our cost base.

In our experience, CX pilots go to far greater lengths to avoid what they fear than to obtain what they deserve. Works out to be a very nice relationship.

The Management.
