Devil CX Medical Costs

I see that the company has decided to increase the cost of doing a CAD medical. Rather cynical, shouldn't the company be practising what it preaches that being in difficult financial times cost constriant is everything. This of course would mean no pay increase for crew...and it is several years since one of those...no cost increases imposed on crew by the company!
No wonder when the SO says "we could get track shortning here" and the others in the cocpit all cry-out in unison "why bother"!
