Pilots and divorce in HKG

I have heard various stories about how the finiancial aspect of divorce goes for pilots in HKG. As I'm in the moddle of it and learning fast I'd like to know how everyone's lawyers have treated their allowances (with regards to it being part of income) and as a percentage of their income just how badly (or well) everyone has done. As nothing in this area is carved in stone the cost seeems to vary markedly. PM me if you don't want to post.

Stillalbatross, the best advice I can give you from bitter experience, try and conduct your divorce proceedings in your home country. In Hong Kong, if you have balls, you will loose big time!

Well of course the SIZE MATTERS, the size of this poor chaps divorce settlement will have a huge impact on his life (or lack thereof) in the future, so, as I have said all along size is important, I mean, I often wish I had a 12" tool......................instead of this big B@#stard !!!!

Enjoy the legal bill's fella's
