Cheap living

Hi Guys,

I’m thinking about applying to CX as a S/O with 1200hrs 1000 jet.

Just wandering what is the cheapest way to live in HK. I've heard some quys live on yachts. Are the mooring fees ok.

Any other suggestions or ideas would be great! How about commuting to the Phillipines.

Also how much is the housing allowance and is it tax free?

Thanks in advance.

Probably best to actually get an offer of employment before making grand plans.....disappointment is a bitter mistress !! but if you fly Ultra long Haul (i.e: CX S/O) you can plan on working about 12 days a month so to live cheaply you could commute to Philipines or Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia.............whatever gets you through the night, eh ??

Party on Dude !!!
