R44 heli down.

Dear all,

Just being nosey, does anyone know the inside story about the down of the R44 heli on the 11th June at Hong Kong.

Some experts said the down of the R44 heli is related to the microburst and others said the pilot allowed someone laid their hands on the controls.

Snoop

South China Morning Post quoted an HKAC official as saying the pilot was "Very skilled" with "Over 200 hours".

Wow!

Third broken ppl(h) piloted helicopter in HK in as many months, and the fifth in the last 18 months or so.

Nuff said.
