Hi guys

I've done a search but didn't find the answer I was looking for. I understand that the crew rest area in the 747-400 is in the cockpit. If that is the case, how do you get any rest? How is it isolated from the rest of the cockpit for the noise, light, etc...

I've heard you only get a shared space in with the pax, Maybe business class ... (kind of like 'a Hot rack" in Sumarine terminology) .

That's good news! It was one of the points I was a bit concerned about. It might sound futile, but I think I'll definitely enjoy some calm on these 15 hrs flights.
