I've ben reading about Tung Chee Hwa's imminent resignatnation and i was wondering what the people of Fragrant Harbour thought about the impact (if any, and of what kind) that it might have on Cathay's opertation.

I was thinking more along the lines of whether he was proactive in nurturing the development of greater ties with the mainland.

CPPCC makes the rules and then bends, breaks, delays, hides etc etc.. It dont matter who the puppet is, sitting in Hong Kong.
The stock market did not even move all week, the Taipans are still sellin property at super hi-rate
And its "Asia's world city" what ever that means !
