Post Good news at last

I read with interest that CX are to operate a 3rd flight to LHR starting July 2002, which at least is a good sign after the last few months.. .But I have to ask why Heathrow ?. .Why saturate the capital with more flights ?. .Surely it would be wiser to operate the A340 direct to MAN.. .Articles in the local press suggest there are still a hard core of passengers that want to fly out of Manchester, and if it came to a choice they would rather change airlines, than fly from Heathrow.. .With customer confidence in the airlines on the increase, plus the approaching Commenwealth Games, now must be the time to try and win back the old Manchester customers before they are lost forever, than to gamble on the 3rd Heathrow flight.
