Ansett boys & girls, & the ban.
So you are a high time F/O or Capt and just read the news this morning. No Job. No Airline. No Salary coming in to pay the bills.
Question:
Will the ban be a deterrent from Joining Cx?

King Kong...
Yes indeed your track record speaks for itself!!
Yet again a great post from you telling everone that it's okay to ignore the ban. I've never had a reply from you at my DIRECT accusations that you are involved with CX.
Most likely recruitment as the only thing you seem to have to say on this forum is relating to the said ban and how ineffective it will be in securing our position.
Ever since the initial talks of a recruitment ban at CX you've continuously tried to convince people that it's okay to to ignore it! The more you write about how ineffective it is the more I'm beginning to believe how well it is being received.
What I do know is that many people ARE honouring it and following the guidance of IFALPA and the HKAOA.
Nobody wants your lousy contract so give it up already! And more importantly nobody wants to have miserable 20-30 year career with this disfunctional lot!!!

No I don't think so.
I think I asked a perfectly simple objective question to see what others think about the Australian situation and how that relates to the ban at Cathay.
No more. No less. No need to read too much more than that.
Thanks for your feedback.

Moderate, Modest & Mild.
Perhaps the reason, Feret, is because CX management appear to following the same disastrous course, wrt their handling of Industrial Relations with their pilots, as Ansett did 12 years ago, and hence Cathay are now simply fast-tracking THEIR way to bankruptcy!
You really oughta get rid of your current mis-management

Not at all!
Just curious why your only interest in the whole situation here at CX is in regards to the BAN. You don't seem to have anything else of use to say so from that I must conclude that:
IT MUST BE WORKING!!!
