Post Have CPA lowered the standards ?

No offence to those in the company for some time now,( ie over 30 months atleast )but I just heard some frightening news on top of what I have already seen recruited into the company, have you guys lowered the pole to let in those who you consider will work out ok with a little more training ?

My daddy told me - if they don't meet your standards - lower your standards, not that this necessarily applies to Cathay.

If this is the case then its a bit hard on the very good candidates who may have had a lot of very positive years with the company to offer, but missed out due to some slip up on a sim check (and I know a few) or some other reason. Cathays loss! Good luck to all who do get in.
