Yes and SABENA is (was) actualy "Société Anonyme Belge d'Exploitation de la Navigation Aérienne"!

Exploitation???....no wonder they went down!!

Actually, QANTAS is more likely an abbreviation for .................Quick And Nasty Typical Australian Service........!!!

Taiwanese carrier Far Eastern Air Transport decided to abbreviate themselves to "FAT" rather than "FEAT" for some reason!!!!

Who speaks Polish??? What about "LOT?"

...and the Indonesion carrier that used to have some DC4's laying around Kemayoran in the old days....displayed proudly along the side of the a/c was their moniker...PENAS..before the days of viagra..so no wonder I never saw one flying.
