Air Hong Kong/DHL new hybrid livery?

Will this hybrid scheme on the A300F be their new look?

Will the 742F fleet also get it or are they being phased out?

Must admit that I haven't a clue, but it does convey the 60/40 ownership split rather well. Apart from that, it's pretty horrible and most likely a perfect example of "design by committee". My 8 year old daughter could have done a better job.

Newscaster,

As far as I'm aware, the 742 fleet will retain the full AHK livery as they will continue to do their own thing. The reason for the hybred scheme is that the A300-600s are committed to the DHL Far East network and, as DHL do own 40% of them, I guess they want it to show!

Air Hongkong

Wondering if any of you could help with info on Air Hong Kong.

ie, if they are hiring, what their pay and schedule is like and where crew are based. Oh yea if hiring, what minimums.

Currently flying the night schedule in the US on Survey flights in a Lear.

Help appreciated.

the 742 fleet
There's only one! HMD. The only reason it is still painted in the old AHK colours is for it to be able to operate in Japan.

It is leased from CX and once the A300-600 fleet builds up it will return to the CX fleet.

Actually, the latest edition of CX World reports that B-HMD has already completed it's last flight for Air Hong kong and will be painted into the Cathay scheme, although at the moment it is still flying in the AHK scheme. No idea when it will be repainted. Anyone at CX know?

Back to the 300 livery. At least the yellow should show up against the grass at BKK. Ooops!
