Arrow US TO ICAO Licenses???

I am an FO (no ATP yet) flying for Atlantic Coast Airlines. I am looking into flying for Cathay Pacific. They require an ICAO ATPL. Is this the same as our FAA ATP? If not what do you have to do to get the ICAO ATP? Also, does anyone have any info on the Cathay Pacific Ops that would help me make a decision to fly or not fly for them?
