Question Base Changes at CX

Ok, here's another dumb question:
I'm an American, married to a British gal. While we live in the U.S. (she got her green card several years ago), we would like to live in the U.K. to be closer to my gal's family while I'm away on trips. We spoke with the British consulate a year or two ago, and they said a resident visa would be no problem, we just needed to show up and pay the fee. Since we haven't any immediate plans to move (ie: my job is still here in the states), we haven't, yet, coughed up the fee.

So here's my question:

If I get the opportunity to get hired (doubtful since I only have 3000 tt, 2200 jet, and zero PIC, yet), by the American subsiderary compnay, is it at all possible to transfer to another base (such as the U.K.) when my seniority can hold such position?

short answer...YES.
Vacancies are posted inhouse for 3 months in both the "Notices to Crew" and co. internal email system. If you place a bid in for the advertised posn then awarding of such will be based on seniority....(usually). Tax and residency issues are for the officer's own concern.
