RP1 and RP2 are kerosene based and similar to the Soviet designation TS-1. They both have a low flash point (28 degrees), RP1 has a freeze point of -60, RP2 a freeze point of -50.

However, most fuel available in China now is RP3 which is basically Jet A1. RP4 is a wide cut fuel similar to Jet B, and RP5 is a high flash point fuel similar to the kerosene used onboard aircraft carriers.

Also, the designation RP3 is almost defunct. It is now mostly known as 'Number 3 Jet Fuel'.
