DC X-11's?
I'm currently using a set DC of H-10's (13.4's) but want to upgrade to something with ENC. I like the fact that the DC's have passive protection in addition to ENC too, and am looking at getting some X-11's. What I'm posting here for is to ask if anyone has any experience with these, and if so what they think of them. Are there any obvious design faults? Is the folding feature a good or a bad thing? And are they better than the old H-10 13X's? Are there any headphones that you think are better?

DC X11s: Light/comfortable, good active noise cancelling, limited passive noise cancelling
DC H20-10X: Heavier/less comfortable than X11s, excellent active noise cancelling, excellent passive noise cancelling.
The Bo makes a bit of noise - so I have gone back to the DC H20-10X.

Believe it or not I did search! X-11 came up with no results and X11 was too short. My bad, should've searched something with a broader scope like "Headset".

Hardly a week passes that we don't have a headset thread in Dunnunda!
You can't search less than four characters. I searched "David Clark" in Dunnunda forums only.
Search "Headset" in all forums brings up enough reading material to keep you happy until next week!

For an industry that uses acronyms for acronyms, 4 or more letters just doesn't cut it for an effective search function.
Sure you can type the full name, but your just wasting your time, no one uses long hand when an acronym is available, especially in written form.
Not complaining, especially since pprune is free, though it does peeve me when people jump all over someone for not "searching".

I have a pair of X11's, have used them in pistons and turbines, ANR is great, mobile phone interface is great.
The only negative i've seen is that it is near impossible to wash the terrible sweaty smell out of them, have just finished my first summer with them, have washed the cloth covers repeatedly, still a tad smelly.
The gel seal cups on my 13.4 were simple to wash, not sure on the correct moethod for the X11 seals ?.
