I was wondering if anyone had applied for a job with KatoAir, and if so, any replies?

They had an ad in aftenposten Thursday 6th and Tuesday 11th of may.

WARNING!!!

As it is always your own call to make descisions regarding your own carreer I may not be able to stop you but one shall know that 3 guys, maybe more now, has just left Kato Air because of the bad working conditions there. One should note that no one of these guys has a back up flying job to go to. And as we all know who share the skies: The situation must be pretty fu**ed up if pilots leave with no flying job to go to. They have also lost 3 chief pilots the last years due to that the management has no clue what an airline is and how it should be run.

Where these guys flying the C208 or the Do228, or is it bad in both departments.

I believe they where on the Caravan. But it is the same owner and administration on both types. (Correct me if I`m wrong).... The situation is not type related or operations related but related to how the management (ceo WITH FAMILY) treat the employees (pilots).

But is this on a personal level or are there safety related matters as well.

Well on the personal level things has gone so low that the ceo use "telephone-terror" to get people to work on their days off. If that is not a safety issue I don`t know...

I know people who used to work there and I can confirm that the situation is as described. There are also operational issues. Not a good place to work...
