FAR/AIM Upkeep
Do most of you tab and highlight information in your FAR/AIM?
Reason I ask,is that I have started doing this, and the most tedious task is, transfering what i have highlighted in one FAR/AIM, to the next year's edition. Being a CFI, I feel it is helpful to have things highlighted, so I see no other choice. Comments? |
Gizbug,
Is having the AIM/FAR tabbed for you or for others to look at? If it is for others then the skill of finding what you want in that book is a skill needed to be developed. It seems to be designed to hide the information rather than make it easy to find. I don't find the need to tab, as that is what the index is for. Cheers |
Well you get to see what changes have been made, so it has some merit. Hell I have been doing it for years. Its a good way to keep up I guess, I been flying for close to thirty years now, so I may have just a little more jaded view of it all.

George,
Good point, think I spend some time tabbing. |
