Single Engine IR flight with ME Single Pilot IR
After a year or 10 flying airline and multi crew, I am back to the private charter game and single pilot ops. Now have single pilot multi engine IR .
Does my Single Pilot ME IR Cover single engine ? or will I need to go and do 'training ' and another LPC... or just get my work LPC/OPC examiner to fill in more CAA forms and issue a SE IR ? |
Maybe you want to check Appendix 8 Part B to EASA Part FCL.
You should have been credited based on your SP ME IR towards your SP SE IR. |
OK thanks
my day to day office is an old 'landrover'. ( PA-31 ) and Kingair, but have got the use of immaculate Archer III, |
yikes over 560 pages....
|
Look at Stds Doc 14 and in particular the table in Appendix 3.

THANKS
FOUND THIS THREAD TOO http://www.pprune.org/professional-p...single-ir.html Seems that SEP IR is valid if I have MEP IR single crew.. |
Assuming you have an EASA Licence then a Single Pilot Multi Engine IR is also valid as a Single Pilot Single Engine IR.
Look in the Ratings Section of your Licence, it should read: "IR-SP-ME class/SE" (where SE = Single Engine) Just in case you had not considered it, irrespective of whether VFR or IFR, you will also need a valid Aircraft Rating which, from what you have written, I would believe to mean a valid SEP Class Rating. |
