PPL A Exams.

What are the scores on the doors? As Brucie would say!

Are any of your students sitting the exams and finding them easy?

What is the iPad app called ?

The purpose of PPL theoretical knowledge is to ensure that a pilot has enough knowledge to operate an aeroplane safely. Over the years we have moved steadily away from that goal and now the exams are seen as a largely irrelevant hurdle to obtaining a licence. The latest CAA exam questions address the latter rather than the former by seeking to catch the unwary with poor quality questions in the far flung corners of a poorly defined syllabus, whilst failing to check for a safe level of fundamental understanding.

Having recently sat and passed these,
Whopity has belted the nail squarely on the head.
