Post PPL Instruction/Coaching
Have any instructors here tried this ?
Independently from any flying school - providing a service to those who are new PPLs or Infrequent flyers?
Do you find that people generally do not want to pay for your time ?

Hi,
I have a couple of former students or people with their own aircraft who I go up with occasionally to practice stalling, spinning, instrument flying or just to act as safety pilot.
I guess most people will go back to their origianl flying school or local flying club or even favourite instructor if they need one for their own aircraft.
However... no harm in asking around... dont ask.. dont get!!

Yes I do get the odd request for a dual type run usually for a long navex, which helps with the confident factor. I have also arranged for two PPLs to go on navexs together that way the trip is longer and they pay half each so cutting the cost whilst improving their flying. The elastic string around the airfield has to be broken if PPLs are to improve their skills.
