Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Does anybody know what the approx. salary is for a full time flight instructor at a JAA FTO for training students for a CPL/ME/IR licence?
To be more specific: A mean an experienced instructor with 1.500-2.000 hours instructor time, for ab initio students who are going to fly for the airlines directly after leaving the school.

Thank You for any information
