I recently completed the FI(R) course at Southend, so I can't help you with Leeds.

One tip I do have is to buy a Whiteboard to practise the board briefings at home.
I managed to track down a decent sized one from http://www.euroffice.co.uk/Default.asp?
I also ordered a kit containing markers, eraser and cleaning fluid which took the price into the free delivery bracket. Total cost (from memory) was about 36 quid.
Bargin.
