Hi folks,

i am flying one of these for the first time in years next week.Can one of you nice instructors fill me in on the recommended speeds?

I.e Vr,Vx,Vy glide, flapless, normal approach speeds,short fileld speeds

Your knowledge would be appreciated !

According to my clubs checklist:

Take Off

Normal Vr 65 kts Full Power clean
Short Field Vr 55 kts Full Power 25 flap
Best rate of climb 80 kts full power clean
Best angle climb 65 kts clean

Approach

Normal 65 kts 40 flap
Flapless 70 kts clean
Glide 75 kts clean

V never exceed 160 kts
max V normal 126 kts
Va 88 kts at 1531 lbs 111kts at 2325 lbs
Vfe 103 kts
max xwind 17kts

When flying an aeroplane you are not familiar with, you should read the aircraft manual. JAR-FCL now requires pilots to undergo differences training when flying different types and models; the manual is a good place to start.

yes I know:I used to do checkouts on them 3 years ago:just wanted a bit of revision
