I just did one yesterday with 1412 and 1100F. Copy of 1100F has been sent and licence signed. It tells you how to do it in the notes on page 4 of 1412....

I presume that now we are within 3 months of the 22/11 expiry date, the instructional hour can take place & 1119E can be used, and a new expiry date of 30/11/2022 put on the ratings page.

Instructor hour can be any time in the second year. Don't forget, anyone without the required 12 hours can use the latest alleviation document ORS 1416.

The instructor hour is broader than it used to be:

refresher training of at least 1 hour of total flight time with a flight instructor (FI) or a class rating instructor (CRI). Applicants shall be exempted from this refresher training if they have passed a class or type rating proficiency check, skill test or assessment of competence in any other class or type of aeroplane.

The experience requirement which must also be in the last 12 months is measured up to the end of the extension and not the original last 12months.
