ATPL but no SEP

what does this uk airbus pilot need to do to get an SEP rating put on his licence please? does he need to contact the CAA ?

Comply with FCL.725 through an ATO.

Those days are long gone.
Got to an ATO or DTO and complete a SEP Class rating plus test.

SEP is a class rating - (s)he already has a licence. 3 or 4 hours should do it.

Only within the '25%' constraints of FCL.1005 (a).
