Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Flight Instructor UK??????

I am currently a class 1 instructor, ATPL, and coporate jet pilot in Canada. I am interested in going to the UK to flight instruct. I have no Idea what the market is like over there or what the chances of a foreign instructor being hired are. If anyone can shed some light on this subject, it would be appreciated.

I'd save your airfare matey, there is an abundance of FI's in the UK and this is likely to be the case for sime time to come. You may be surprised at how little instructors are payed, sounds to me like your better off where you are.
