FI Revalidation

Mental blank - obviously my age! - but I can't remember how far in advance of expiry date one can take the instructor revalidation flight test. Part-FCL isn't much help, unless I'm missing something. Grateful for help here. Thanks.

Page 992 of Part-FCL. Must meet 2 out of 3 options - 50 hours instruction during rating validity,
a seminar,
or an assessment of competence within 12 months of validity expiry.

Every other revalidation must be an assessment of competence, as well as one of the other 2.

Thanks, TOO. 12 months gives adequate flexibility!
