Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Can anyone Help?

I hope someone can help.

Is there an up to date Theoretical Knowledge Syllabus for the FI course?

I refer to AMC-FCL 1.340 which was a suggested breakdown of the hours. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If it's the theoretical bit, I think it is Standards Doc 10 you need. Somebody far better qualified will confirm for you but have a look at the questions in there - there's a lot of them and you need to know the detail!

The FI Training Course is specified in AMC1 FCL.930.FI FI — Training course. It is just a list, as are most other EASA sylabi. Each course provider will interpret it in their own way and should publish their own syllabus in their Training Manual.
