Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Possible to do FAA LPC/Recurrent in E.U. (UK)?

Hello all and apologies if this is not the correct forum for this question:

Can I find a simulator in the UK or elsewhere in the EU to do a B 777 LPC/Recurrent which is typed on my FAA licence? If so do you know which facility I could go to?

Your reply much appreciated.

The FAA simulator list does not show any approved 777 sims in the EU. For a FAA recurrent you would have to go through a Part 142 school which would have to use an approved sim.
