Heard a rumour that the JEFTS contract (Babcock HCS) was being cancelled/ adjusted such that some of the "Civvie" instructors might be "surplus to requirements"! Hope not, otherwise it's another cracking instructing job gone down the pan! Anyone any clues?

Basically yes, however all will become clearer after the contract extension is awarded (or not) in early July.
There's a thread on the Military forum ('JEFTS Church Fenton to close') but I'm not technical enough to construct a link to it.
