Splitting the FI course between 2 different schools
Guys, is it possible to split the FI course, 125h theory and 30h flying, between 2 different schools?
The reason is that some FTO (including my local one) charge for 125h of theory almost 1500€ more(twice) than others.

Problem is you need a course completion cert and if you don't do them both at the same ATO they can't be certain you have done the course.
And 12 euros an hour ground school doesn't seem unreasonable to be honest.
And you get what you pay for.

mad_jock, my local FTO charges for 125h of theory 2750€, other school charges only 1250€ for the same. The diff is 1500€ which is quite a big amount.
The theory on the FI Course is intertwined with the flying, consisting of briefings and the give back of bnriefings, you cannot seperate the two; you do it at one school or the other, or you will do it twice!
Most FI providers would not entertain the idea of you doing the theory at one school and the flying with them, it is neither practical nor possible.
