Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

FI(A) training.

I am thinking of doing an FI(A) course, currently have a PPL and have been a Microlight instructor in the past. Any recommendations for FTO`s here or abroad would be welcome.

Alpha Flight Training at Hawarden (EGNR). Doing my course there at the moment. Well worth a look and visit.

I can recommend Cental Flight Training at Tatenhill from personal experience. I can also recommend Leicestershire Aero Club at Leicester Airport. It depends on where you are based!

Central for any instructor/examiner training. Try are second to none with what they teach. Very knowledgable.

Can't recommend Carol Cooper (Andrewsfield) highly enough.

Since you'd need to stay over they even have a caravan you can stay in at a very reasonable cost (at least there was last time I was up there).
