Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

FTO requirements for FI training

If you have a suitably qualified FI and your own aircraft, what is the limitation as to where you can receive FI(A) training? Does it have to be via an FTO?

It has to through an ATO with an FIC.

It has to through an ATO with an FIC....
....and using the ATO's approved course.
