Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

"Unfreezing" JAR ATPL into EASA ATPL

So I need an LST, but is it an SRG1104 or 1183 as well as the 1119A, 1199 and 2199. Emailed the CAA and got a cut and paste reply saying 1183, but the desk says 1104. Maybe it doesn't matter!!
What a mess. Anybody with recent experience please?

SRG1183 is the form to apply for an EASA ATPL! SRG 1104 is the form to convert a JAA licence to an EASA licence. You are applying for a new licence, there is no such thing as unfreezing an existing licence!
