Convert JAA/EASA to FAA instructors Rating

I am trying to find information on converting my JAA flight instructors rating to a FAA instructors rating, has anyone got any experience converting it?

You will need to obtain a standalone FAA CPL/IR or ATP first, then:

1. Complete knowledge tests (FOI & CFI);

2. Minimum 3 hours training with FAA Instructor;

3. Complete CFI checkride (probably with FAA as its still considered as an initial instructor certificate;

4. Repeat for CFII and MEI. No additional knowledge test for MEI, and FOI does not need to be taken for successive add-ons.

Slight thread drift, any advice on how to convert a JAA FI to TC FI? I've got a stand alone TC Commercial. I've scoured the t'internet but couldn't find anything about it.
