Although they may advertise the FI course, they don't actually have a full time FIC instructor to conduct it. They may say they can do it but proceed with caution as it would be probably be done by instructors who have other full time commitments. You would then find yourself with days without instruction and an unpredictable course duration.

FI training

By all means pay for a banner ad if you wish to advertise your business on PPRune

fly mate your going to have to stand back from some of these threads about ACS and only stick up for yourself if it turns nasty and trust your previous students to correct the mistakes.

If you need to, send the poster a PM to identify yourself and explain the situation if required.

I am sure that you have a good product and are proud of it. But you need to let the prospective and previous students discuss what they feel without jumping in. They may turn up things that you didn't know about and can then make your product even better.

Just my opinion mind.

Hi there,

I recently gave up full time instructing after more than 800 hours instructional down south and moved to Scotchland for work with a commercial operator. Have done a small amount of flying to keep the light aircraft stuff up out of Perth with ACS and have found them to be more than adequate.

They have a really experienced CFI there, Ian I think but I believe he just teaches CPL/IR/Multi stuff. Worth going along for a visit and getting a feel for the place though.

Rgds,

Jim.

Only thing about Perth is that the greasy spoon is a bit to good.

So if your a fat chuffer be warned you wont be loosing weight there.

sorry to open this thread up again.

Looking at ACS for FI rating. Anyone actually done the course there or know of such course? Maybe even if they got a job with them afterwards
