Flying School Software

Hi

Does anyone have any suggestions / recommendations for software to run a flying school (scheduling, record keeping, aircraft management etc)?

Ideally looking for an integrated, web-based solution.

Any ideas appreciated

Thanks

Pooleys are currently promoting their new product, haven't used it, but the demo they came round with looked quite good. They have a pdf brochure for it, can't see a link, but sure they'll send you it if you enquire.

Our club uses open flyers. Seems OK unless you need full commercial bookkeeping

Dave up at highland aviation has written his own.

Very impressive worth having a look at.

At the West London Aero Club we have just started using Airchunk. It has not been released very long however we have found the developers to be excellent in promptly implementing many of the features that we have requested.

We also looked at the Pooley's software which we also liked very much.

Pooleysflightbooking works very well with lots of neat features, email notifications, reminders, and a sophisticated system for booking in and allocating time slots for instructors.

We spoke to James at Pooleys who was very helpful. the beauty of this system is it can be customised for the school with logos and a URL specific for the school.

Ted,
PM me if you would like some advice. I have some experience of inovative cost effective solutions. Whilst I don't do it any more I am happy to share some of the experience.
