FAA FI elsewhere in the world

Hi all,

I am from the uk and am instructing in the USA with an FAA FI certificate.

I am wondering if anyone knows if the FAA FI certificate can be used in other countries in the world? I love to travel and it would be great to use my hard earned certificate in other countries if it is possible.

Also, do some countries let you convert your FI certificate to a different CAA? If so, what does that involve?

Thanks in advance
