Issue Fees

I am hoping that someone can help me as I cannot seem to find the information I require on the CAA website.

Can anyone please tell me what the CAA are currently charging to add SEP rating onto an ATPL. I have a family member who is trying to renew their private priveleges and would like to know what fee is payable to the CAA.

Many thanks

What was the expiry date of the family member's last SEP Class Rating?

If it's more than 5 years since the SEP Class Rating expired, once the renewal LST has succesfully been completed, all paperwork must be sent to the CAA at the address indicated on SRG\1119, together with the relevant fee. If less than 5 years, there is no fee to pay to the CAA.

The fee for such a 5 yr+ SEP Class Rating renewal is shown as £87 in the current CAA Scheme of Charges http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/262PLSCorr.pdf

All the info is at Personnel Licensing | Safety Regulation

looking at http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/175/Person...harges2011.pdf

the charge to add a rating should be £119 for initial application or £87 for renewal.
