Faa Private Pilot Checkride In Germany/Europe?

Hi,

is it possible to do an FAA Checkride in Europe or even better in Germany?
Are there FAA Examiners in Germany/Europe?

I´m holding a FAA Privat Pilot Helicopter license and did a few years ago all the flighttraining for Airplanes but had to leave the US before I could take the Checkride.

Now I wonder if it is possible to do the Checkride in Germany.

Fly save,

Gonzo

Hi Gonzo,

not sure I can be of much help...but several years back I needed to organise an instrument checkride in a Citation.I was put in touch with a Guy who if memory serves correct, in fact lived in Germany and used to travel to the UK if necessary.

I'm sure others will be able to tell you if he is still around and if so his details. I would'nt even be able to find them not as the check ride did'nt in fact take place...but certainly there was such and Examiner living in Germany at the time.

Gear up.

FAA CFI

If you do need to do your 3 hour requirement in preparation for the practical test, I am an FAA CFI (Instrument, Multi-engine) based in Munich, Germany.

Flight instruction

Hi Lauren,

I would like some information on flight instruction and airplanes for rent in Germany. How's the availability and cost for a FAA DPE instrument check ride?

Made an attempt e-mail you, did not go through.

Thank you,
M.
