Up to date air law material

Hi all,

I've been reviewing my PPL ground studies material that I use both for my own reference and to help teach my students, should they require it.

Although old, it all still holds good other than the area of air law. I find myself in possession of a Thom dated 1990 and a Pratt dated 1995!!! Whilst I know which parts of these are incorrect and why, I would like to update to a new air law reference that was largely correct in itself.

So, I'm really appealing to those who haven't been instructing for the years I have but have come through the system in the last few years. What have you used? It would be nice to have something that covered the ANO 2009 and EASA airworthiness. I've had a scout around but the most up to date I found was Pratt 2007. A book would be preferable but I'd be open to CBT stuff at a push. I suppose the latter is more easily updated so likely to be more up to date, I just think a book is easier to flick through. Anyway, thanks in advance.

Why do you bother with other peoples texts.

Do your own research
For ANO and Lasors and other Material visit CAA publications at
Publications Search | Publications | CAA

ANO download go to
CAP 393: Air Navigation: The Order and the Regulations | Publications | CAA

For JAA

JAA | Publications & NPAs

Jaa FCL and Ops are free also look for ESA material

I would think a google search will uncover any FAA material.

All the private text copy the material straight out of the official publication and then reword it.

You should also teach your student where they can reference the material.
I happen to know one instructor who does not know where to find the UK rules of the Air!!!!!!!!!!!

Edited to add ano link
