Getting unrestricted FI, Ireland
Fellow PPRuNers! Some help needed here, until very recently i held a FI-rating with which i flew some 200ish hours and eventually became unrestricted.
Since i started with an Irish airline i had to change my license to an Irish one and then all of a sudden my FI-rating was restricted again. The IAA told that was just the way it was, google hasnt helped me much, can PPRuNe help me?

Hi,
Although I cannot answer your question, you may find it worthwhile to post on http://www.flyinginireland.com/forum/index.php also. It is likely some there will be able to help.
Best of luck
Ryan

Ring Simon White at the Irish CAA and have a chat with him. If you have had the restriction removed there cannot be any safety justification for applying it again. Ask for an explanation of why they have done this as it is not in accordance with JAR-FCL where ratings from another State should be accepted.
