CRI & Night flying

Hello. Can you teach Night flying and issue a night rating with a CRI?

The privileges of a CRI are to teach licensed pilots for the issue of an aeroplane Class or Type rating. A night qualification is neither of those and is regarded as an ab-initio qualification that may only be conducted by a FI with night privileges.
