Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Newbie here to say hello

Hi everyone;
I'm a newbie here on your forums and just want to say "Hi" to everyone.
I'm a retired pilot who specialized in aerobatic instruction.
I'll just lurk here a while and get the lay of the land.
Nice to meet all of you I'm sure.

HIYA...aerobatics!!!

I've been itching to get a chance of posting a reference to a woman I love..SVETLANA KAPANINA... alas he does not know I exist.....ahem

In the first part the owner tells her the field geography and the tells her
"don't cook the brakes..OK?" I love it!

YouTube - 2008 Al Ain - Svetlana Kapanina

ENJOY!

Kapanina is indeed a rare combination of beauty and talent.
She markets herself quite well and has performed right on up the ladder in professional aerobatics.
The hardest part about watching Kapanina is remembering whether she was on line or off line on her 45 degree upline rolls after she blows one of those patented air kisses of hers your way.
:-)

G'day Dudley, I've seen your posts on the net elsewhere (FB most recently) and look forward to more here.
Semi-retired engineer here - part-time aerobatic instructor.
